Consortium since 1981 and while our name has changed slightly, their services and commitment to the community remain the same.
They provide a wide range of services and resources to both job seekers and employers. Job seekers will find a variety of job search tools and training opportunities to help find the ideal career or career pathway. Area employers are able to post jobs and learn about the many ways they connect employers with skilled workers looking for meaningful work

Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

Created in 1965, SCSEP is the nation’s oldest program to help low-income, unemployed individuals aged 55+ find work. SCSEP matches eligible older adults with part-time training assignments for non-profit organizations. Participants build skills and self-confidence, while earning a modest income.
